True reference for the categorization of French wines, “Le Guide Hachette des Vins” is now head of sales in its category every year, the selection is redone and the last vintage of more than 30,000 wines tasted. Jurors know that the name and vintage reference points needed to judge a wine. They know, however, neither the producer nor the wine and do not see the label.

Selected wines can be between 0 and 3 stars. Particularly those who are tasted like a second time by a "super jury" and the best are reported as "heart shots" by the reproduction of the label in the Guide.
