True reference for the categorization of French wines, “Le Guide Hachette des Vins” is now head of sales in its category every year, the selection is redone and the last vintage of more than 30,000 wines tasted. Regional tastings are organized, which in the context of designations of origin and wines.

The wines are tasted blind, for selections and ratings are not influenced by considerations of reputation.
Jurors know that the name and vintage reference points needed to judge a wine. They know, however, neither the producer nor the wine and do not see the label.
Selected wines can be between 0 and 3 stars. Particularly those who are tasted like a second time by a "super jury" and the best are reported as "heart shots" by the reproduction of the label in the Guide.
